Vegetable coconut curry (തോരന്‍)


1. Cut and boil the vegetable.
2. Mix coconut, green chilli, small onion in grinder.
3. Fry the vegetable and add the above mix into this.
4. Yummy thoran ready!

Vegetable fry (മെഴുക്കുപെരട്ടി)


1. Take kovakka, beans, payar(achinga), or any veg.
2. Boil in water with some salt and manjal podi for 5 mins.
3. Fry onion, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, chilli.
4. Add boiled veg into this.
5. Yummy mezhukkuperatti ready!

Fish curry (മീന്‍ കറി)


1. Keep the fish in a non-stick dish and add onion, ginger, garlic, salt into it.
2. Fry some onion, ginger, garlic, salt in coconut oil.
3. Dip kodampuli in water.
4. Make a paste of manjal podi, chilli powder, uluva podi (little) with water and add it into the fry above.
5. Now add all into the fish, add water and the puli with water.
6. Cook for 15-20 minutes.
7. Yummy meen curry ready!

Rasam (രസം)


1. Fry onion, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, chilli.
2. Add 2 tomatoes into it.
3. Add 2 cups of water and rasam powder.
4. Yummy rasam ready!

Egg curry (മുട്ട കറി)


1. Fry 3 potato, 1 onion, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, chilli.
2. Make a paste of manjal podi, chilli powder, malli podi, garam masala with water.
3. Add this to the fry above.
4. Finally add water, cocunut milk and boiled eggs into it.
5. Yummy motta curry ready!

Dal curry (പരിപ്പ് ചാര്‍)


1. Dip dal in water for 2 hours.
2. Cook dal (2 whisles).
3. Mix coconut, green chilli, little jeerakam, manjal podi, small onion in mixie.
4. Add it to cooked dal.
5. Yummy parippu char ready!

Chicken fry (കോഴി വറുത്തത്)


1. Mix Red chilli powder, manjal podi, salt, pepper powder with water to make a paste. (Same as fish fry except uluva podi).
2. Or use Chicken fry masala.
3. Add cut chicken pieces into it.
4. Keep it for at least 2 hours and fry for 1/2 hour.
5. Yummy chicken fry ready!

Chicken curry (കോഴി കറി)


1. For 1 kg chicken, fry 3 onions, 3 tomatoes, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, chilli till brown.
2. Add 1 tbsp chicken masala.
3. Add chicken, salt, water.
4. Cover it and cook for 1/2 hour.
5. Last add some coconut milk.
6. Yummy chicken curry ready!
